Mango Laccha recipe in Hindi by Tulita aahar | Mango Jam | Easy homemade jam

Mango Laccha recipe made with ripe mangoes. Easy and yummy jelly style laccha which goes well with any bread, rice, or just as a savory.


Preparation time: 20 mins

Resting time: 120 mins

Cooking time: 10 mins


Ingredients:

  1. 2 raw mangoes

  2. 1.5 cups sugar

  3. Strands of Kesar

  4. Orange food coloring (optional)

  5. 1/5 TSP cardamom or elaichi powder


Recipe to make Sweet Mango laccha:

  1. Grate 2 raw mangoes after peeling off the skin.

  2. Add 1.5 cups sugar to this and let it sit for 2 hours so that the sugar dissolves and coats the mangoes well.

  3. Empty the mixture into a pan and add some strands of saffron or Kesar.

  4. Add 2-3 drops of orange food color and mix well. Heat this mixture on a medium gas flame.

  5. Once the sugar feels sticky and binds well, we will stop giving heat and let it cool.

  6. Ready! Enjoy! Look at the video to understand the proportions of sugar.
