Mango Sandesh recipe - Bengali sweets recipe, Simple 5 ingredient recipe

Everyone loves Bengali Sweets - let us make Sondesh (Mango) today.
Preparation time: 30 mins
Cooking time: 20 mins
Ingredients:
1 liter full-fat milk
4 TSPs lime juice
1 juicy mango puree
1/4 cup sugar
1.5 TSPs milk powder
Recipe to make Cottage cheese or Paneer for the sweet:
(This makes 250 gm cottage cheese)
Boil 1 liter of full-fat milk. on high flame.
To this add about 4 tsp of lime juice. This will help the milk to curdle. Switch to low flame.
Strain the liquid and keep the white paneer. Wash this with cool water so that the sourness of the limes is controlled.
Tie it in a cheesecloth and drain the excess moisture from the paneer. Keep it like this for about half an hour as shown in the video.
After half an hour churn the paneer in a mixer until it becomes smooth and rolls into a dough-like consistency.
Recipe to make Mango Sandesh:
Make a puree out of one juicy mango.
Take about 1/4 cup sugar and the cottage cheese which we made before.
In a heated pan, add sugar and mango puree and cook until the sugar melts (2 mins). Then add the paneer on low flame and mix well until it combines well.
Then add 1.5 TSPs milk powder (optional).
Let the dough cool down for 5 mins. Then roll out balls and decorate the Sandesh according to your choice.
