Mogar ki Puri Recipe

Today we are going to make Mogar ki Puri !!


Preparation time: 10 mins

Cooking time: 10 mins


Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup mogar (soaked in water)

  2. 1 cup wheat flour

  3. 1/4 TSP turmeric powder

  4. 1/2 TSP garam masala

  5. 1 TSP salt (as per your taste)

  6. 1 TSP red chilli powder

  7. 1/4 TSP dry mango powder

  8. 1/4 TSP asafoetida

  9. 1 TSP dhaniya powder

  10. 1 TSP oil

  11. Dried fenugreek leaves

  12. A pinch of baking soda


Recipe:

  1. Add all these ingredients to a bowl, and mix till a tight dough is formed

  2. Now, add a little oil to the dough and leave it aside for 5 minutes. Till then, we will heat the pan.

  3. The puris should be of medium size.

  4. Now, we will flatten the puri.

  5. With the gas in low flame, place the puri on the pan. Add a little oil and roast the puri well.

  6. We have switched to medium flame so that the puri gets baked well.

  7. We have made 7 yummy and soft puris with this dough !!

  8. We put baking soda and oil in these puris so that they become soft.

These yummy puris can be eaten with anything at any time !! Enjoy this traditional Mogar ki Puri !!
