Hi there! This is my self-invented healthy tea recipe! What is rose tea? Health benefits! Rose tea is a herbal flavorful drink made from rose petals and buds. It has been long known for its medicinal value.
Rose tea is primarily made up of water. For this reason, drinking one or more cups per day can significantly contribute to your total water intake.
Rose tea is rich in antioxidants. The main source of antioxidants in rose tea are polyphenols. These compounds reduce risk of some terminal diseases like cancer and other complex diseases.
Other health benefits include laxative benefits, lessening of menstrual pain and has anti-inflammatory properties.

Take 5-6 fresh roses and separate the petals and buds. In this preparation we have used only the petals.
Sun dry them or dry them in an oven until it loses good amount of water and becomes flaky. Dry it using microwave oven for 4 to 5 minutes.
Make the dried and flaky petals into a powder.
Next, boil a cup of water in a pot and add 1.25 TSP of rose powder into it and bring it to a boil.
The last step should take about 5 minutes. Strain the tea.
Add mint leaves, honey and lime juice. Stir well and enjoy! PS - You can add milk to make it into a milk tea and tea leaves (if needed).
